Products
The Structural Pest Control System was designed from the ground up for the pest control industry, to increase productivity, save time and make you more money.
Customers
Everything about a customer, including service, payment and chemical history, is available at the press of a key. There is no limit to the number of customers you can track.
Find customers by name, account number, street, address, city, zip, phone, service frequency, map code, area, initial, last or next service date, customer type, source, route number, billing name or billing address. Even a phone number, street name or first name is enough.
Scheduling
Print call sheets, labels, cards, route sheets and invoices for customers scheduled in any period. Filter by area or zip code, quarterly or annual, contract or no contract, commercial or residential, and route.
Several schedule screens let you change any part of a service, or drag and drop appointments to another date and time. Unlimited directions and instructions can print on route sheets and, optionally, service tickets.
Invoicing
SPCS creates and prints invoices automatically for customers due in any period. Pull up a customer’s complete invoice history on screen or on paper instantly.
Edit charges and service descriptions on any invoice at any time, and reprint as many copies as you need. We can customize SPCS to print on your own invoice or service ticket form, and we also offer forms designed for SPCS.
Chemical tracking
Many states demand detailed chemical use records. SPCS logs product name, manufacturer, EPA registration number, diluted and actual quantities, dosage rate, unit of measure, targeted pests, application methods and locations treated.
State-specific reports include the New York DEC chemical usage report and California’s Monthly Pesticide Use Report.
Reports
Sales, income, accounts receivable, expense and sales tax reports, all exportable to Excel in Version 7.0 and above. Schedule, route sheet and call sheet reports are available from the schedule screens.

SPCS Mobile
Mobile Paperless System
SPCS Mobile eliminates paperwork and data entry for technicians and office staff. Give technicians their work on a mobile device; they post their own work as they go.
When a technician synchronizes with the main SPCS program, all of their work uploads automatically, so nobody retypes handwritten notes.
What technicians can do
- See all scheduled jobs for a day, week, month or longer, sorted several ways
- Enter time in and time out
- Enter payments received and capture the customer’s signature
- Enter products and chemicals used: names, EPA numbers, quantities, units, locations, methods, dilution rates and target pests. Record keeping meets reporting requirements in all 50 states, including New York (DEC) and California
- Add technician notes, extra services or charges
- Print or email an invoice or receipt showing payments and chemicals used
- See special notes, instructions and directions in each job record
On synchronizing, jobs are updated, chemicals and payments entered, and services rescheduled automatically.

How to install
- Save the file (we recommend your My Documents folder), then choose Open.
- Close SPCS first. On a network, have all users close it and install on the main computer or file server only.
- Open SPCS on the server and wait for Database Maintenance to finish before others log in.
- Updates are not a full installation, and your existing information stays intact.
- Afterwards, check Help | About SPCS, and see changes under Help | Read Me.

Credit Card Processing
Process payments securely, right inside SPCS, through a partnership with Worldpay.
Eliminate standalone point-of-sale terminals and multi-integrated software that raise your processing costs. Processing through SPCS with Worldpay saves time and money and removes liability from your business.
Secure by design
The payment card industry’s PCI DSS standards govern how cardholder data is processed, sent and stored. Failure to protect stored data is the leading cause of breaches, and pest control often needs stored cards for recurring billing.
Payment Account Secure Storage (PASS) moves the actual card data to Worldpay’s secure storage and gives SPCS a unique reference. You can bill a card on file, schedule recurring payments or resolve questions, and if your system were breached, the data stored at your location would be unusable to thieves.
Honest pricing
Worldpay’s True Pricing passes Visa and MasterCard interchange through without mark-up. The per-transaction service fee is set when you sign and stays constant for the term, and only specific card rate increases are passed on.

New Version! SPCS 8.0
We are pleased to announce the release of SPCS Version 8, a major update designed for full compatibility with Windows 11.
This release also includes important updates to meet Microsoft’s latest OAuth security requirements for sending email through Microsoft Office and Outlook.
In addition, Version 8 includes enhancements to our text messaging features. More information is available by clicking the Text Messaging link on our website.
Please note: Version 8 is now the only supported version of SPCS. Earlier versions will no longer receive updates or technical support.

Features from Version 7.0
New screen design
Windows and fonts are about 35–40% larger for high-resolution monitors. Larger toolbar buttons with text labels, plus options to change background colors.
Export to Excel
All accounting reports (sales, income, accounts receivable, expense, sales tax) export to Excel with transaction-level detail. Requires Excel on your computer.
Signature capture
Capture a customer’s signature in SPCS Mobile or in SPCS on a laptop or tablet. It’s saved with the invoice and can print or be emailed on the receipt.
Text messaging
Send texts individually or in bulk for service reminders. See the current Twilio-based option.
MapQuest links
Map Route uses the new MapQuest Directions and RoutePlanner, which rearranges a route by shortest distance or time.
Date validation
SPCS checks that the next service date isn’t in the past or too far ahead. Turn it on or off in Set Preferences.

Policies
License
You are purchasing a license to use the software and any associated materials. The code, design, user interface and methodologies are intellectual property owned by RDF Software. Software publishers don’t warrant software because they don’t control the computers, other software, operator knowledge or data accuracy involved. We evaluate written (email) concerns and release regular updates with enhancements and corrections.
Privacy
Your business information is private. We don’t upload any information to our servers, and we don’t scan, monitor or retrieve your data. It stays on your computers. Updates from the Downloads page install new files and licensing information only. Online support happens only in your presence and with your permission.
Support
- Email is the best way to get support. We reply within one business day at the latest, track every email, and don’t charge for email support.
- Support is not training or data entry. The manual (PDF) and topic help are built into SPCS under Help.
- We don’t sell or support hardware, or provide training in basic Windows operations.
- Phone and online-connection support and training (we prefer TeamViewer over high-speed internet) is billed at $150.00 an hour with a $100.00 minimum.
Purchases
Each order is processed individually, and software is installed after payment is processed. Please review the online documentation and do your due diligence first. Once installed, software can’t be permanently removed.
Text Messaging
AT&T no longer allows text messages through an email gateway, and other carriers will likely follow. SPCS now integrates with Twilio so you can send SMS/MMS to your customers.
Twilio is widely used and trusted for SMS, MMS and voice. It handles high volumes of automated appointment reminders and service updates, integrates with SPCS through simple configuration, covers international messaging, and keeps you compliant with U.S. carrier rules.

Why registration matters
Since around 2021, U.S. carriers require A2P 10DLC registration for application-to-person texts, to fight spam and fraud. Unregistered messages risk being filtered, blocked or throttled, with higher costs and a damaged sender reputation.
Register with Twilio
- Log in to the Twilio console and open Messaging → A2P 10DLC registration.
- Complete the brand form: business name, address and contact details.
- Pick your use case, such as transactional or promotions.
- Link your 10DLC number or Messaging Service to the registration.
