Structural Pest Control System for Windows CE

SPCS CE is an optional software program designed to run on Pocket PC's or any mobile or handheld device running Windows CE.  

Using SPCS CE technicians can post work completed, enter payments received, enter chemicals or products used, enter notes, gather customer signatures, print invoices/receipts, and add new customers if needed. Their entire schedule and all the information needed to service their accounts is available on the handheld.

SPCS CE works in conjunction with and requires SPCS for Windows. SPCS CE does not have all the features of SPCS for Windows.

SPCS CE requires SPCS for Windows Version 3.0.  You can check your version of SPCS by selecting Help|About from the menu.  If you have an earlier version of SPCS you will need to upgrade to Version 3.0 in order to use SPCS CE.

As with all of our software, we would greatly appreciate any feedback and suggestions from our users.  Any minor changes, enhancements, and/or bug fixes will be made available via our web site.

Multiple Handhelds - There is no limit to the number of handhelds you can install SPCS CE on as long as they are installed on devices for the same company or person that holds the license for SPCS for Windows.

Technical Support - RDF Software has never charged for technical support.  However, at this time we cannot anticipate how much technical support will be required by our customers using handheld devices.  Therefore, we reserve the right to charge for technical support in the future.  Currently, we will guarantee free unlimited technical support for a period of 60 days.  After the initial release period we will re-evaluate our technical support requirements for our customers using handhelds.

Printing - SPCS CE prints invoices/receipts on 8.5 x 11 plain paper.  Currently, we will not be offering custom invoice formats.

SPCS CE is able to support a wide variety of printers.  Any printer that is compatible with IR or Bluetooth printing will work.  SPCS CE prints an invoice/receipt on 8.5 x 11 plain paper or a small credit card size receipt.  Be sure to select a printer that supports the type of printing supported by your mobile device, i.e. IR or Bluetooth.

Citizen CMP-10 is a popular portable printer that prints a small credit card size receipt.  This printer uses thermal paper and is small enough to hook on your belt.

RDF Software does not sell Pocket PC's or printers.  You can purchase Pocket PC's at most computer and office supply stores.  The HP IPAQ is a popular model being used by a lot of companies.
